Adan Receives Conference Travel Award from APP
Congratulations to Adan, who has been awarded a Conference Travel Award from the Applied Physics Program to support his attendance at the Microscopy and Microanalysis Conference in July 2023. He will be presenting his work at the conference, and we wish him the best of luck!
Yimo Han received Rice Engineering Innovation Conference and Workshop Fund
Yimo Han, together with Geoff Wehmeyer and Guanhui Gao, has received funding to organize an Advanced Electron Microscopy Workshop. The goal of this workshop is to raise awareness of and encourage the use of Rice University’s Electron Microscopy Center, which features the world’s first FEI Titan S/TEM. This cutting-edge technology was purchased for $10 million in 2015, and the workshop aims to showcase its capabilities and promote its use among researchers.
Adan Mireles from Applied Physics Program joined Han Lab
Welcome, Adan! We’re excited to have you join our group of passionate individuals who share a common interest in Electron Microscopy!
Shaocheng and Ruojie are moving forward to their next stage of career
Congrats to Shaocheng and Ruojie! Shaocheng becomes a PhD student at Mississippi State University. Ruojie receives a job offer from Global Foundaries.
Our first machine learning paper is out on arXiv
Congratulations to Chuqiao and Michael!! While they were working from home during the pandemic, they developed a machine learning method to process 4D datasets in a rapid and semi-automatic way. If you are interested, feel free to check out our work here! Chuqiao also presented this work at the M&M conference. The conference paper can be found here.
